- Do you live in the Woodbridge School District?
- Are you concerned that your child may have a delay in one or more areas?
- There are resources available for you to find the help you seek.
If your child is between the age of 0 and 3, contact Child Development Watch at 302-628-2000 to make them aware of your concerns.
If your child is between the age of 3 and 5, contact the Early Childhood Center Coordinator. We will be happy to start the referral process. You will be asked to complete our referral form and return it to our office. Our Early Childhood referral team reviews each case to determine if a formal educational evaluation is necessary, or to provide you with some ideas to supplement your child's educational growth.
If an evaluation is needed, we will invite you to bring your child in to meet with one of our professionals. Should your child have a delay and be eligible for special education services, you will be asked to be part of the team to develop a plan for educational improvement.
You are encouraged to contact the Woodbridge School District Student Services Office or the Woodbridge Early Childhood Education Center any time you have a question about the process.
