Heath Chasanov has been the Superintendent of the Woodbridge School District since August, 2012. He served as the Assistant Superintendent of the district since August, 2003. Heath has been very active with Delaware professional organization and has served as President of the Delaware Association of State Personnel Directors (DASPA) as well as the Delaware Association of School Administrators (DASA). He has served on a variety of statewide committees as well including the Professional Standards Board (PSB), the Academic Framework Working Group (AFWG), the Education Funding Improvement Commission, the Financial Literacy Task Force, the Youth Re-entry Education Task Force, the Delaware Teacher Hiring Task Force, and the School District Finance Work Group. Prior to his current position at Woodbridge, Heath served as the Administrative Assistant, Admissions/Federal Programs Director, and Business Education teacher for the POLYTECH School District, and as a Business Manager for the Laurel School District. He has his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Delaware and is currently enrolled in the UD doctoral program for Educational Leadership. Heath is a 1987 graduate of Woodbridge High School.
Heath is married to his high school sweetheart, Caryn Brown Chasanov (Woodbridge ’88), and they have three children together Carleigh, Conner and Carter.
Supervisor of Administrative Services
Richard Crisci has been an educator for the past twelve years, with the last seven being in the Woodbridge School District. He has participated in a variety of committees with the State Department of Education and Woodbridge School District.
Richard has his undergraduate degree in Earth Science from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, a Masters degree from Walden University, and is presently in the final stages of obtaining his doctoral degree.
Prior to beginning his teaching career, Richard had 10 years of experience in school transportation.
Richard is married to his wife Amanda, the Special Eduction Coordinator for Woodbridge High School. They have 4 children.
Dr. Donna Hall
Director of Curriculum and Instruction
Dr. Donna Hall has served as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction in the Woodbridge School District since November 2011. As part of Dr. Hall’s duties, she is responsible for maintaining updated and aligned curriculum resources for all content area teachers to utilize with Pre-K through grade 12 students. She is also responsible for planning and providing professional development and teacher training throughout the school year. Other areas of responsibility include the oversight of curriculum work of four other content area instructional specialists in ELA, Math, Science, and Technology and two PLC Leads -RTI Coordinators. Donna’s work area includes being in charge of School Improvement Planning, RTI Programs (Response to Intervention), district-wide PLC’s, Comprehensive Induction Program for new teachers, Title 1, Title II, Perkins/ CTE (Career and Technical) Programs, and Professional Development through coordination in the Consolidated Grant process. One large area of responsibility has been to manage the Race to the Top Grant and district-wide RTTT initiatives. These initiatives have encompassed school and district-wide activities on academics, utilizing data, staff recruitment, professional development and parent and community involvement.
Prior to her current position in WSD, Donna worked in the Milford School District as a Supervisor of Academics and Instruction, and as a Principal, Assistant Principal, and High School Biology and Chemistry Teacher in the Indian River School District. Donna has her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland College Park, master’s degree from Salisbury State University and her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University.
Dr. Michele Marinucci
Director of Student Services
Dr. Michele Marinucci has served as the Director of Student Services for the Woodbridge School District since August 2011. As part of Michele’s duties she is in charge of Special Education, District Assessments, McKinney Vento, Homebound Services, Consolidated Application, ESL/ELL, Migrant, PreK Program and Employee Daycare, Summer School and Extra Time, School Counselors, Related Services, PBS, IST, Data Systems (including eSchool, IMS, and IEPPlus), and co-chair of the District Calendar Committee. Prior to her current position at Woodbridge, Michele served as the Section 504 and Special Education Coordinator for Phillis Wheatley Middle School with the Woodbridge School District, as a Statewide Training Administrator for the State of Delaware’s Office of Management and Budget, and as a special education teacher for Milford and Capital School Districts. She has her undergraduate degree from Delaware State University, Master's degree from Wilmington University, and her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University.
Supervisor of Special Programs
Dee has completed 29 years as an educator, 21 of them in the Woodbridge School District. She has served in various capacities as an administrator for 19 years. Dee’s responsibilities are to assist and support all district office departments, from recruiting to curriculum and assessment work. Dee served as principal for Woodbridge Middle School for 11 years prior to her current position. Prior to returning to Woodbridge School District in 2005, Dee served as Associate Principal and Principal in the Capital School District. Dee earned her undergraduate degree from Clarion University in Pennsylvania with a dual degree in elementary education and early childhood education. She earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University. She has furthered her education with Wilmington University with additional coursework in Human Resource Management.
